Grass-Fed & Grass-Finished Beef.
Jersey Milk Raised.
Our beef operation is unique, compared to most. We have a one-cow operation, our “queen of the farm” Lucinda, freshens (has a calf - or two!). She raises this calf until it’s weaned and we are able to bring another calf to our farm she adopts and raises. A typical year, Lucinda will raise 3 calves until she is ready for a rest. We dry her off, and when she freshens the cycle continues.
Pasture Fed.
Our steers are raised on pasture in the spring/summer/fall, and fed hay during the winter months. They are given free choice minerals, kelp, and access to fresh water.
They live a happy and healthy life at Glory Acres.
Old World Processed.
We choose to have our steer butchered at an Old World butcher house. They take pride in every step of the process: Dry aging from 21-28 days for a tender, flavorful cut. Utilizing all aspects of the animal with little-no waste. Detailed record-keeping to ensure the correct animal is kept with the right customer. MGS-free and natural curing options. We are thankful to have a butcher we can trust to produce a superb product!
