Right when winter is escaping and spring is drawing near, a season we call “sappin’ season” is upon us. Our family taps around 200 maple trees on our property in northeast WI. The first sweet drip of the season is greatly anticipated.

The process of making syrup starts with tapping maple trees, collecting sap, boiling the sap down until it reaches syrup, filtering the syrup, bottling, and finally enjoying the sweet results!
